You Will be Amazed at What this Divorced Couple Does Every Year for Their Son!
Divorce can be devastating. Its even harder when kids are in the picture. And Victoria Baldwin and her ex Adam Dyson know this too well. Which is why they made the decision to maintain a family tradition they had been doing every year; just for the sake of their son Bruce: Taking a family portrait together as a family.
The pair got a divorce after their son turned 2. And because of the bond they have because of their child, they still manage to pose and take the photos together.

In a post on Love What Matters Facebook page, Baldwin wrote:
“We are not in love, we don't always agree, we're not best friends, sometimes we don't even like one another. But you know what we are? We are forever connected because of our beautiful, smart, kind, compassionate, funny son.”
The couple made the decision to stay connected after they realized that their bickering during their rather unpleasant divorce was hurting their child. Baldwin recounted how he once cried at her feet during a heated argument in front of him. And then it dawned on her: “…I was more focused on hurting his dad than I was on comforting Bruce crying. I knew that wasn't the example I wanted to set.”
She immediately booked their first photo session and asked the ex to join them. And they maintained their yearly tradition.

As always, there are some people who believe it will be hard to maintain the tradition once they get other partners. Baldwin however disagrees saying they both agreed to continue with it adding “I wont be with someone who wouldn’t accept that”.
Noble as it is, Do you think it will maintain this?

This how I raised my girls...with their father firmly in the picture. This says to them that they are a priority over what we want and we can stand to be in in each other's presence peacefully and supporting our girls. This approach has benefited all of us by keeping the girls in school through major teenage angst and difficulties and also propelling them to higher education. They are learning to know themselves while they know that mom and dad are there for them not living together, but parenting together.
