She has also gone one step further and removed Do What U Want – the song they worked on together back in 2013 – from all streaming services.

New allegations about the RnB singer came out following the Lifetime Surviving R. Kelly documentary, which featured several women coming forward with their stories of sexual abuse.

(According to The Associated Press, R Kelly's legal team have denied the claims, suggesting that the accusations made by the women in the documentary were false.)

Lady Gaga took to Twitter to “stand behind” all the women who came forward with their stories about R Kelly…

"I stand behind these women 1000%, believe them, know they are suffering and in pain, and feel strongly that their voices should be heard and taken seriously," she wrote on Twitter.

"What I am hearing about the allegations against R. Kelly is absolutely horrifying and indefensible."

She then addressed her duet with R Kelly, explaining that her thinking was “explicitly twisted” when they collaborated on the track…

“The song is called 'Do What U Want (With My Body)', I think it's clear how explicitly twisted my thinking was at the time,” she continued.

“If I could go back and have a talk with my younger self, I'd tell her to go through the therapy I have since then, so that I could understand the confused, post-traumatic state that I was in - or if therapy was not available to me or anyone in my situation - to seek help, and speak as openly and honestly as possible about what we've been through."

The singer turned actress – who won a Golden Globe on Sunday for her phenomenal performance in A Star Is Born – was previously criticized for not speaking out against R Kelly sooner…

“I can't go back, but I can go forward, and continue to support women, men, and people of all sexual identities, and of all races, who are victims of sexual assault,” she added.

“I intend to remove this song off of iTunes and other streaming platforms and will not be working with him again.

"I'm sorry, both for my poor judgment when I was young, and for not speaking out sooner. I love you."

Following the documentary, Chance the Rapper also apologized for working with R Kelly in the past. And just like Lady Gaga, he has vowed never to work with him again.

Let’s wait and see if R Kelly’s people comment further…
